When the lure of such worldy pleasures as banana split sundaes and competitive poo tossing wear thin, many monkeys seek the wise counsel of Monk-Kee to guide them. Monk-Kee's areas of interest include:
The nature of this world
This world is a great sleep, punctuated by nightmares and predators, but sprinkled with moments of kindness, and . . . when we are lucky . . . moments of pure love. At the time of death, we will shake off our slumber, and realize that this world is merely a dream . . . at times a classroom, at other times a tedious bore, but there are always spiritual lessons available, if we pay close attention.
The nature of God
Who can say? He is as elusive as the ether, yet nothing gets past Him. His power sustains the entire universe! Pray to him with an earnest heart, and he will reveal himself to you as you become ready to receive Him. Always endeavor to live your life as if God is watching always.
Meditation
The saints and sages of old know the value of sitting with the mind and breath stilled, until the notion of duality disappears. Reside in that great and rich silence as much as you can. Over time, that Presence will consume your worldy mind, and your worldy tasks will become easy to bear.
Monk-Kee's Pearls of Wisdom
When seeking to determine the true nature of a prospective mate, take them to a restaurant and discreetly observe how they treat the wait staff
Treat others as you would like to be treated, and you will both be happy
To be in a state of constant learning and willingness to adapt removes many spiritual obstacles
God sustains and is mindful of his creation 24/7. If you can manage half of that effort in your realm, that's a good monkey
When God speaks, he is always clear and concise, but often speaks quietly. Cultivate your spiritual ear so that you don't miss those things that you most need to hear
